Picnic Permits
Picnic Permits are used to reserve space for private events such as barbeques, birthday parties & family reunions.
Applying for a permit is recommended, particularly on days that the park is busy. Permits are available for the Spring, Summer & Fall seasons.
Make your reservation at least 5 days in advance. Permits are issued by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. The Friends of FDR Park does not issue permits.
